1. Why does the program start and then quit
suddenly?
You probably have a temporary expired license file at this time.
You need to install the permanent license key file as soon as you
receive it. If you've misplaced the "Welcome GRSeo Licensed User”
email that included the permanent license key, please email your
order details to support@grsoftware.net. We will mail you another
license email message with your permanent license key.
2. When do I will receive my Permanent License
Key?
Your download came with a TEMPORARY LICENSE for immediate
use of the program. Your PERMANENT LICENSE will be sent by email
after your purchase within 24-48 hours. Please install the permanent
license key as soon as you receive it. If you've misplaced the "Welcome

3. Does SE-Optimizer run
on your server or is it a program running on my computer?
It runs on your computer. When you purchase the program, you
will have the latest information regarding search engine specifications
for optimization.

of their courses, Essential Foundations of Search Engine Positioning
and Advanced Search Engine Positioning. SE-Optimizer
includes monthly
updates from engines like Google and Inktomi, as well as directories

continue receiving the updated files after the first year of my

The yearly subscription will be $75.00 a year. You will receive
a renewal notice at the end of your first year of use and each year

6. What areas of text and background
HTML does SE-Optimizer check and provide instruction for correction
and optimization?
In addition to comprehensive text analysis, SE-Optimizer checks
title, META tags, images, links, frames, scripts, hidden tags, style
tags, comment tags and object tags. See the Checker Options dialog
in the program.
7. How do I keep track of all my work?
SE-Optimizer provides a separate area for each of your projects.
You simply select a project name and then reference your files and
your keywords to that project.
8. How do I keep separate the different keywords
that I want to check?
After determining your keywords, you type them in for a separate
analysis for each search engine. The program maintain a list of
your keywords.
9. How much information do you actually provide?
Can I do a quick scan of what needs to be considered for optimization?
After you run the program, a short description will be associated
with each area you need to address. You can double click the short
description or use Menu options to see a detailed description of
what to consider for the selected search engine. You can also click
on Html Report to see the short and detailed descriptions as an
HTML document in your browser.
10. Can I work with my files directly to make
my changes?
Yes, you have the option of using your own browser, HTML editor
or text editor within the Options section. Then, you can use your
Menu choices to launch your program, do your work, save, and then
re-check with GRSeo to see the effects of optimization.
11. Are there different ways to select the
Menu items to work with the program?
Yes, you have two options to access the Menu: (1) the Menu
button in the Report section or (2) right click in the Report section.
12. Can I make a record and report of my findings?
Yes, you can export a report as text or html by selecting
the appropriate Menu option.
13. Can I copy to my clipboard?
Yes, just access the Menu and copy as text or html.
14. Can I share my SE-Optimizer results with
others?
Yes, just access the Menu and select to e-mail a report as
text.
15. How can I change the dialog
column lengths?
Check the "Autosize report dialog columns" box in
Options and you will be able to resize the dialog columns for easy
readability.
16. How do I learn what all the
Option items are and what they do?
Select
the "Tooltips" box in Options to enable short comment messages when
you move your cursor over an option. We suggest that you enable
this option while learning the program.
17. I have problems sending the Report by email?
On
some email client programs (we found this using Eudora), we have
verified that the recipient of the email report sometimes does not
see the attached html report file as an icon at the end of the message.
To solve this problem we have changed the Attachments options in
order to use the MIME format.
